Cagayan de Oro City and Iligan City has been declared as in the State of Calamity last December 12, 2011 at around 17:20 and was battered by Tropical Storm Washi (known locally as Bagyong Sendong ) late at night on Friday, December 16th.

This happened to be the worst storm in the history of the region. The storm left at least 436 dead people and an estimated 100,000 displaced mostly from Cagayan de Oro and Iligan City.

I was thankful and very much blessed to know that my family and friends in CDO were safe after the typhoon, but I was sad at the same time because many of our brothers and sisters in Mindanao were killed and displaced after the Bagyong Sendong. Lets pray for the victims and the families for a faster recovery from the typhoon. Let us help the poor victims by donating anything we can give - food, clothing, cash, etc.

This is the only way that I can help the victims of Bagyong Sendong. Let us help our brothers and sisters in Mindanao.

Please re-post this to spread the news and get ore help from other people. Help, share and give love this Christmas.

Let’s help CDO and Iligan!

This is really one of the best things we can do as bloggers, increase awareness and spread the word on how to help.

If you can't, you can do it still. There many ways of giving help to those victims of Typhoon Sendong in CDO and in Iligan City. Your prayer is the most affordable, handy, unpressured way of alleviating the worst state or conditions of those victims. You don't need to spend money for your prayer. Pray for them!
