About Sining Factory
Started on September 2011, Sining Factory is a personal blog that amplifies the art and culture of the Philippines. Its name came from the Tagalog term "sining" which signifies art. And it was to promote the artistry of my environment that I have decided to give birth to this blog.
During the process, I was able to discover my adornment with up-cycling things, turning trashed materials into masterpieces that are useful in our everyday lives. This helped me to reinvent my blog in a more purposeful cause, the reason why I love sharing my do-it-yourself projects. Incorporating my creative skills and appreciation to designs, I decided to make Sining Factory a DIY/craft blog aside from being a cultural blog.

About the Author
Mabuhay! My name is Noks Sosa, a 20-something Filipino blogger who has a passion for arts, a discoverer, a number one fan of life and adventure, a nurse by profession and lives the whole life as forever crazy in love with artistry. I may not know any famous painter, musician or whatsoever but I can appreciate beauty and that, I label my self an artsy. Lol. :)
Ever since when I was young, I always love to do art projects not only in school but also inside our house. I have a strong fascination with colors, arrangements, designs, etc. Growing up, I was exposed to different kinds of arts. I was a cultural dancer/performer when I was in grade schools and eventually became a drama artist and was able to perform in many stage plays, a painter and a photographer.
Though I am lazy kind of person, I still love to challenge myself and learn new things everyday. Instead of shopping for new clothes, I think of smart ways to create new looks and styles. I also love making up my room by doing my own furniture and accessories using materials that I can find inside our house. For me, it's easy to create beautiful projects out of the things you see around your house. We just need to be resourceful and creative. Well, as what I've said, I am a lazy person so expect that most of my DIY ideas are quick and easy to do.
Aside from being a crafter, I have also an uncontrollable desire to hit the road and travel. I wanted to explore the different islets of my country to experience our rich culture. Through travelling, meeting people and discovering places, I became more appreciative with many things and realized that beauty came from different forms. It molds me to become a more creative person.
Oh by the way, if you have fun and exciting ideas to share, feel free to email me at [email protected].
