Last 2010's New Year's Eve, me and my friends planned to have a small party at my place. I can't deny how much I love foods and with this, I need to equip myself with a good cooking skill. I prepared some good foods that I know they will love. Some are steaks, pasta, ham, roasted chicken and many more. All foods are easily to cook but everything is good.
Roasted chicken is actually one of the easiest thing to do. I just flavored the chicken with salt, pepper and butter and sprinkled some rosemary, thyme and sage on it. I rubbed all over with olive oil and stuffed it with some fresh herbs and quartered lemon.
I roasted the chicken for about 45 to 60 minutes. Ready for carving! :)
With the steak, I just seasoned it with salt and a fresh cracked pepper because I don't want to mask the natural flavor of the beef. But it is your choice, you can also add some herbs but you have to chose the best ingredient that will complement the flavor of the beef.
Honey baked ham is really one of my choice during Christmas and New Year. You can find one at any market place as long as you know your choice.
Everything was great. After eating, I prepared some cocktails to booze the night. It was really a happy New Year for us.
