Labing Isang Daliri 2005 was one of the most memorable event of the UP Painters'Club that I had been to. Besides from the beautiful entries of the art exhibit, I enjoyed everything because I was one of the artists that are presenting their artworks. The event was held at Sining Makiling Gallery in University of the Philippines Los Banos
This was my first art exhibit in my whole life. I am glad that my three paintings were approved by the committee that is screening for the entries to be exhibited.
One of my entry is an abstract + surreal painting. It was a hand with chain connected to a box. If you will look closely to the painting, you will see that there is something wrong with one of the fingers which I intentionally copy my hand on the painting. There is some social relevance with the painting but I will trust the audience about their interpretation on my painting. :)
