Singapore is a treat for culture junkies. If you are a person who loves to explore history, art and culture, the "City of Lions" has a lot to offer you. Singapore has its richness when it comes to history and has been able to preserve it in the form of art and artifacts.

To truly experience Singapore’s arts and cultural scenarios, you should find time to visit the different ethnic quarters like Chinatown, Little India and many more. Singapore is also home to great visual delicacies provided by many art museums and galleries like the Singapore Art Museum at Bas Brasah and the world's first Art Science Museum at the Marina Sand Bay. For one to enjoy all of these, you need to stay in Singapore to observe several events and occasions throughout the year. The city offers quality accommodations with the best hotels reflecting the mixture of various cultures. They will caress you in style with the best interior designs and at the same time maintaining the highest standards of international hospitality.

The Elizabeth Hotel

I had the chance to explore the arts and cultural scenarios in Singapore after the omy.sg invited me as one of the international bloggers that will attend the Singapore Blog Awards 2012. Far East Hospitality made my stay so comfortable as I explore the beauty of the heritage of Singapore because they gave me a free stay for three days and two nights at The Elizabeth Hotel.

The Elizabeth Hotel  is a majestic three-star hotel located near the heart of Singapore. It situated in the private and exclusive enclave on Mount Elizabeth. Accessible to the shopping centers, it is also within easy access to the Orchard Road where you can find great installation and street arts. It is truly a preferred choice for leisure travelers like me.

Elizabeth Hotel will welcome you with huge modern chandeliers, elegant black marble counters accentuated by warm back lights and also with hospitality from the smiling staffs of the hotel. Timeless elegance is just perfect to describe the hotel. The cultivated beauty of its interior is vibrant from the entrance to the lobby, lifts to the rooms and surely this hotel will mesmerize you.

There are 256 rooms at The Elizabeth Hotel. Each room is well-appointed and air conditioned. As I entered my room, I was welcomed with the elegance and lusciousness of the Executive Room. The first thing I did was to check all the room facilities. Guests of the hotel can make use of the voice mail, clock radio, coffee and tea maker and in-room safe. The mini-bar is just awesome offering you with complimentary drinks and foods. The Elizabeth Hotel also features in-room facilities such as satellite television channels.

The room has a curtain to provide privacy for the guests. But if you're a person who loves being bold, the window in front of you will give you a very refreshing scenery. Here is a breath taking view from my window.

The bathroom also includes a vanity area and a big shower room. Bathroom amenities include complimentary toiletries, shower combination and mirror. Extra towels and bath robes are available too.

The Elizabeth Hotel offers great food too. You can find one of the best restaurants known of its pizza and pasta. The Modesto's gives me a piece of Italy, serving the taste of traditional Italian wood-fired pizza and home-made pastas. I also enjoyed the delicious buffet breakfast that is being served daily.
