Louella models in my shoot when I was in Catanduanes. That time, I want to try something new by engaging myelf in fashion photography. I convinced her to model because I believe she has what it takes to be a model. At first, she was very hesitant. Until she finally decided to try modelling. Though not a pro, I think she delivers it very well.
You've seen this girl a lot in my previous posts. A 16 year-old lady who is very refined and shy. She is Louella Sapla. So here we go. The shoot was actually unplanned. It was a Saturday morning when we went to the beach to relax and have a little fun. But before dipping ourselves in the water, we decided to have a shoot with my cousin Louella. It never took a long time for us to do that because the rain suddenly fell off the ground. It was kinda hard since there is no enough source of light . Though I believe that we can still make a good art from it. In my opinion artistry begins when you don’t have to worry about the technical side of your work process and still can manage to create a defined beauty from your work. If you will know, she was once called the Ugly Duckling when she was younger. The shoot totally redefined beauty. Well I guess the big message with this is empowering people to feel self-confident about themselves. Be confident on what you are. :) I just love how Louella worked the shoot. I can't imagine how she is getting better and better compared from her first shoot. If you will see her in person, you'll be surprised and may wonder how this girl can work perfectly in front of a camera. Do you think she got what it takes to be the next Venus Raj? Kidding! :)

She's not a model? You made her look good--except the last photo though. The angle made it look like she has skeleton legs. Great work anyway!

I've always wanted to try photography. I might include it as one of my hobbies in the future.

nice shoot, but the model's face is soo stiff.. i mean, since the setting is nasa tabing-dagat... somehow her emotion is nakikita rin... (seems her face saying = ayokong mabasa)

I like the model... she's so expressive. She's fitting to be a little mermaid drifted to a boulder. The setting is really an ideal one.
