Food represents a culture. The cuisine of Singapore is a picturesque of the ethnic diversity of their culture. Singapore became the crossroad of the different cultures and this phenomenon can be seen in their foods; influenced by the native Malay, Chinese, Indonesian, Indian and Western. We can also find the food culture of Sri Lanka, Thailand, Philippines and the Middle East making Singapore the food capital of Asia and the cuisine of Singapore a food attraction. To prove this, the Far East Hospitality invited us before heading to the Singapore Blog Awards 2012 ceremony for a buffet lunch at Zaffron in Oasia Hotel Singapore, a place to experience the taste of Asia. All in all, Singapore’s varied cuisine and culture make it a very interesting city - the perfect place to taste the best of Asia.
