My Five Favorite Recycled Craft Ideas

6/15/2012

Hey guys! I’m still adjusting to the whole change of schedule with school, events and everything. I know that most of you are waiting for the updates of my craft tutorials and after a couple of months that I wasn't able to keep you posted, I promise that I will bring back my genius ideas in turning  trashes into crafts and masterpieces (and something useful. hehe.) I am very happy and excited to share again easy-to-make and inexpensive recycled craft ideas but for now, I will just share my five favorite art crafts I did for different occasions.

Hanging Flower Ball

Flower balls are favorite decors for elegant events so why not turn colorful paper into extraordinary decorations for weddings, luncheons, parties and more. This is  just so easy to make using recycled papers and other materials you can find at home. And what is good about this is that you can do it yourself and you don't need a florist at all - you save a lot of money!

Paper Ball Ornaments

Paper ball ornaments are always in season and this is the reason why I like this craft. These are suitable for casual and formal occasions but you can also change the colors and add some accents to use these in other ways. This is totally all recycling. So, there is no need to spend money to have a splendid decorations in your house.

Plant Protector Christmas Tree

This is a very clever idea of making your old plant protector into a decorative Christmas tree. All you need is your all Christmas ornaments, some craft wires, a plant protector and your creativity. After turning it into an art, you can put it back again in the garden and celebrate Christmas in an eco-friendly way.

Flower In A Bottle

This is another awesome idea for souvenir, give away and gifts  for any occasion. I did this last Valentine's day as gifts for my friends and they liked it so much. This time, I used the corn husk to create beautiful flowers since the style of my flowers is so conducive to the material I used in this project. I put it in a vial to make it preserve the flower and make it more elegant and decorative.

Paper Quilled Christmas Ornaments

Paper Quilling  is the craft of coiling strips of paper and glueing to make simple or intricate shapes and designs. I used this technique to make recycled Christmas tree ornaments without spending any cent. Using old papers and the stuffs you can find at home, you can make some awesome paper quilled Christmas tree ornaments.

I always wanted to go green in any occasion that is why I came up with these recycled crafts. Let us all save the environment with these frugal recycled projects.

I'm not artistic when it comes to the arts but these recycled creations are really nice. These are great for decorations and also as gifts for friends and family members.

Reeeeeeeeeeeally neat! You have the hands!

I know, I really suck at these crafts. The best I made is an origami, of the paper cranes. Haha. I really suck at arts.

But these are really neat. Compared to pricey decorations, why not learn from here, eh? :)

Those paper quills are very creative. It's time-consuming but worth it.
