Louella models in my shoot when I was in Catanduanes. That time, I want to try something new by engaging myelf in fashion photography. I convinced her to model because I believe she has what it takes to be a model. At first, she was very hesitant. Until she finally decided to try modelling. Though not a pro, I think she delivers it very well.
You've seen this girl a lot in my previous posts. A 16 year-old lady who is very refined and shy. She is Louella Sapla.

Two weeks left until Christmas! Like what I always experience, some of you guys are also having headaches choosing the best gifts for our friends and family. Sa dinamidami ba naman ng kapamilya at inaanak, sigurado, kulang ang Christmas bonus mo pambili ng regalo. If you’re struggling with your finances or wasn't able to save for Christmas, you can always make something homemade. For me, a gift from the heart means more than those you can buy at the malls. The best way to give gifts is just show off your crafting skills by making your own Christmas gifts to friends and family.
Paper Quilling is the craft of coiling strips of paper and glueing to make simple or intricate shapes and designs. Using these shapes, you can make very beautiful masterpieces. So, I used this technique to make recycled Christmas tree ornaments without spending any cent. Using old papers and the stuffs you can find at home, you can make some awesome paper quilled Christmas tree ornaments.
Christmas is around the corner and some of us are having troubles on what to use to decorate a Christmas tree at home. For those of us who are environmentally-friendly and want to avoid buying expensive artificial Christmas tree, this Christmas tree from fallen branches is perfect to have one. We should keep in our mind that all store-bought Christmas ornaments should be recycable for future use!
World AIDS Day is an international event held on December 1 each year to show support for people living with HIV/AIDS and to commemorate their loss. She is Shola Luna - one of the Malate's iconic figures during 80's and 90's. A model, beauty queen, make up artist, fashion designer, performer, actor and a steward of art herself. In 1994, she left United States and came back to the Philippines until she found out one of the most challenging journey in her life. She was diagnosed of HIV. Last December 3, 2011, The Philippines' best blogs received recognition at the national awarding of the annual Philippine Blog Awards at Carlos P. Romulo Auditorium, RCBC Plaza, Makati City.
A few months ago, during the nomination process of the Philippine Blog Awards, Sining Factory was nominated under the Best Culture and Arts Blog in National Level. Last week, I received an email from the PBA that my blog was a finalist under that category. For me, being a finalist in PBA 2011 is an honor already. For so long, creating and playing paper dolls became a simple and fun activity for children especially in a rainy day. Which made me to play with my cousin as my living doll and dressed her with papers. Using newspapers and magazines, glues and tapes, we came up into a small project that tested our creativity and resourcefulness.
